Samsung UN40FH6030 has dimension 40 Inch with LED 1080p 120Hz, It make Samsung UN40FH6030 is amazing Quality Picture. Picture quality is very good. It is only a 40 inch but it is all that I wanted for the size room that it is in. The color is very good and the sound is better that I expected. I bought this television because it was cheap. Since new technologies such as OLED and 4K will be affordable in a few years, I thought I would get a cheap television to use until then. I expected picture quality to be slightly worse than the broken seven year old TV I replaced (Samsung LNT-4081F).
I'm Technology Holic and I have to admit that I've been completely blown away by how fast flat screen technology has evolved in the last few years.
Only Tell you about My history Just 5 years ago, the smallest bezel TV I could find was a 52" Mitsubishi LCD; and, now I was able to purchase this 55" Samsung LED that looks small when hanging in the same cabinet - even with the 3" larger screen!

When I first set this TV up, I was initially impressed with the bright colors; but, there were 3 obvious problems:

• There was an almost unnoticeable 'glitch' that would occur fairly frequently. I tried to tell myself I was just being picky; but, it happened often enough to be irritating.
• The picture was absolutely crystal clear (like looking out a window) - but the colors made everything look like a soap opera. (At least, that's what I thought of.)
• The picture looked great when the room was bright; but, it got a hazy/grey look when the room was dark.

I started playing with the settings and lucked into a fix for the glitch pretty quickly. There's a setting called 'Auto Motion Plus' under 'Picture Options'. I played around with it for a bit and realized the glitch completely disappeared when this is set to 'Off'.

The problem with the 'soap opera' look was resolved by messing with the color settings; and, the most important change ended up being to reduce the brightness & LED backlight settings.
The haziness took a few days - and I almost reached a point where I was going to return the TV. Fortunately, that was also resolved by turning off the 'Eco Sensor'. The reason it took longer to find is because it isn't located under picture settings - instead, it's hidden in the 'System/Eco Solution' menu.

Anyway, I have to say that I'm 100% satisfied now - and absolutely blown away by the amazing picture quality! I was tempted to reduce this to a 4 star review because I think the settings I mentioned should probably be defaults for most people; but, I'm sure Samsung has their own reasons.
Overall, I would highly recommend this Samsung UN40FH6030 3D LED TV if you're looking for a great LED TV! Just picked this up a few days ago. Since this is a new 2013 model, there is conflicting information on websites as to whether this tv supports 3D or not. It does. Visit Samsung's website for full details. This FH6030 is pretty much the same as last years EH6030, but does not have the 3D glasses included and is at a lower retail price.

Wanted a 3D TV but had no use for Smart features (streaming Netflix, Amazon, etc) as my TV is hooked up to my HTPC. This is one of the very few TV's with 3D and no Smart features. And it's priced accordingly. Easy to set up and fairly light if you are doing a wall mounting. Picture is good as expected with any Samsung product and has multiple setup options. Connects to the internet but the connection is used only for software updates. Like so many others, I really don't care for the Auto Motion or LED Motion Plus features that smooth the picture. Others call this the "Soap Opera" effect, but what it really does, to my eyes, is reduce sharpness and blur out/soften/dim the picture. I just turn them off.

No 3D glasses are included, but they are less than 20 dollars a pair. The correct glasses to get are the Samsung SSG-5100GB 3D Active Glasses. Pair them with the set (they are bluetooth) and you're good to go. The 2D to 3D conversion is surprisingly good. The 3D is outstanding.
If you want a nice 55 inch TV with 3D and don't need to stream from the TV, this is the one to get.

Because an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) does not produce any light, but rather acts as a shutter that controls the passage of light through the display, all LCD displays require a back-light in order to be seen in dim lighting conditions. The LCD part of the display simply acts as a "shutter" that either allows light to pass through the display panel, or blocks it. It is like a microscopic venetian blind: when the crystals in a display cell are aligned in a perpendicular direction relative to the screen, light can pass through. When the crystals are aligned parallel to the display, the passage of light is blocked.

Thus, while an LCD display can be seen in bright lighting conditions (a digital watch or clock face, for example), to be seen in dim lighting conditions - or to produce a useful TV picture - there must be a light source behind the LCD display screen that provides the necessary illumination, a back-lighting system. The first generation of LCD TV sets were back-lighted by a series of cold-cathode fluorescent tubes, which produce a white light. Each "pixel" or "picture element" that makes up a TV picture is spot on the display with three microscopic filters that produce the primary TV colors: red, green, and blue (RGB).

The color TV picture is then created by adjusting the transparency of the LCD element that controls the light passing through each of the filters in each of the pixels that make up the entire picture. For a typical HDTV picture, there are 1080 lines of pixels, each with 1920 pixels per line - a total of over 2 million pixels in the picture. Each pixel has three filters, and must be controlled individually to create a single frame of a TV picture, which refreshes at a rate of either 120 Hz, or 240 Hz, depending on the model. The notation Hz refers to "Hertz", which is a measure of the number of "cycles per second"  - 1 Hz is equal to 1 cycle per second.

The Samsung UN40D6420UFXZA LED 3D HDTV set uses an "edge lighting" system to provide the back-light for its picture. In this system, very bright white-light LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are placed around the edge of the screen frame. A diffuser plate then distributes this light through the entire face of the display. The use of an LED lighting system means that the TV requires much less energy to operate. This set is extremely efficient: based on a usage rate of five hours per day, and an electricity rate of $0.11 per Kwh, it would cost about $14/year to operate this set. When the set is turned off, it consumes just 0.07 Watts of power. That amounts to 0.6 Kwh/yr, which would cost less than $0.07 based on the same electric rates - no "electricity vampire" here!

These "Apps" allow you to use the TV to interface with the internet, and download Web content from providers like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and many others.

Another feature of this set is its use of "Allshare DLNA Technology". DLNA stands for "Digital Living Network Alliance". It represents an "interoperability protocol" that makes it possible for various electronic devices to link together to enable file sharing and data transmission. Samsung's "Allshare" makes it easy to synch up most of your DLNA-enabled devices with your Samsung TV set, which means that you can use all the media files on your computer, iPhone, and other devices on your HDTV set as well. Add the optional LinkStick, and you can have wireless access as well.

The Samsung UN40D6420UFXZA set also includes the ConnectShare Movie feature. This makes it possible to play music, watch videos, or look at pictures from any USB Flash Drive. All you need is to is to plug the drive into the USB port on the set, and you are ready to go.

To put it another way, supposed you were watching a movie such as the "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King." If you have seen the film, you probably remember some of the more startling scenes where giants swing their axes narrowly missing the heroes as hordes of ghostly soldiers engulf the capital in the climactic battle. With the Bravia, you would actually see the hordes of soldiers rush past you at the enemy as they ran from the field. And, in the climactic scene, you would see a deliriously happy Golum holding his prized "precious," not realizing he is falling to his doom with the ring. The 3D is so real you feel you are there.

That perhaps is why the 40-inch LCD KDL40EX720 is such a hit with video aficionados. Not only that, though, you also have a number of inputs and outputs that allow you to use the KDL40EX720 as a video device for any Bravia-compatible electronic gear. For example, if you have a Bravia-compatible Blu-ray player and want to play a 3D movie and its stereo audio tracks on it, all you do is slip in the HDMI connector and the KDL40EX720 delivers crisp, clean video.

That perhaps more than any other items is the key to the Bravia KDL40EX720. When you are in 3D mode, the video figures are sharp and the whites seem to be a bit brighter (as in 2D mode) while the blacks are multi-shaded.

The Bravia KDL40EX720 is made for streaming media and is not only network-centric as it can act as a WiFi node for other devices, or, it can simply act as part of your home WiFi network. You can also pickup video from more standard interfaces such as the built-in Ethernet interface of the USB 2.0. Indeed, the Bravia actually has one HDMI output for so that you can actually chain devices, but it also has three HDMI inputs as well as composite a component video output

The Bravia is not only WiFi-ready, it is also internet ready and with the proper add-ons from Sony, you can set up the Bravia KDL40EX720 to handle Skype photo conversations with others as a picture-in-picture device.

As you can see, this is quite a device and we could go on for pages describing all its features. The best thing for one to do to find out exactly what the Bravia can do is obtain one and put it to whatever tests one wants, we're sure it will pass.
